Service Description

Note: This test is to determine whether a child has an intellectual disability or is intellectually gifted. The testing includes: - Intake parent and child interview - review of medical records and school records - Teacher interviews - Assessment of intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviour - Session with psychologist (behavioural observations) - Report writing - Feedback session with psychologist and recommendations The report may be used for your own personal information, to share with another provider or school, or to receive services. Reports takes between 2 weeks to a month from the date assessments are done and all tools are collected to be finalised . Feedback sessions are booked after report is completed and the report is sent to parents after the feedback session. *It is important to discuss how you will use the report in the initial intake appointment so the psychologist can best help you. It is also important to know that testing and reporting is not a guarantee of services.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule contact us 48 hours in advance. A 50% deposit will be required of you for every booking. In case of late booking deposit (after 48 hours) will not be refunded.
